Divine 9 Rhombus:
- This mesh is the same construction as the original Force mesh.
- “True Diamond”/Rhombus constructions allows for and extremely smooth release,
- Rhombus size is bigger to allow for more feel than Force Rhombus while still keeping the
- Less material in between each rhombus limits the width the mesh can stretch out, so you
will never have to worry about bagging or your pocket becoming illegal in the crucial
- Construction of the mesh gives you the best feel to consistency ratio
This is a great mesh for faceoff players. Traditional hexagon meshes can jam against the side wall of the head and cause the ball to catch. The rhombus doesn't have any threads parallel with the head and never jams. I found the stringing to be a bit different from other meshes so I put some notes below. You can definitely get a great pocket that shoots and passes really well. The Divine 9 is a performance mesh so it don't bag or stretch - I used it for a whole season and it was still fine. The colors are obviously fantastic so your stick will look great.
Stringing: There's not much information around about stringing these so I though I'd post here. I string the side walls using the same principles as regular hexagon meshes - pull down tight the top four or five then stack a few then tied the rest evenly. As a FOSO, I use loops rather than knots. The top-string is a bit different because the diamonds/rhombuses don't stretch as much as hexagons so pulling them out to the corners can make the pocket a bit tight at the top. Personally I don't bother, I tie to the top of the head and start the side walls tying the forth diamond to the fifth hole. I do a slightly eccentric top-string that ties to both the nine and eight diamond rows to give more channel. I can't post a picture here so I'll see if I can post one elsewhere.
Literally such great mesh, and they gave me another FREE piece of mesh and a string kit!!!! Unbelievably generous of them to do, and I would absolutely buy from them again. A++++
Best mesh I have ever used 110% recommend to anyone
Was hard figuring out how to string it but it strung nicely a d I got the pocket shape I wanted.
Devine 9 Diamond Rhombus is one of the best mesh(s) I have used. Creates tons of hold with a smooth release. Works wonders in the StringKing 2f for FOSO midfielders
